Just a reminder that Firefox download day starts tomorrow (the 17th of June). If you haven’t signed up already you can do so here.
For more info, see the post below.
Happy downloading!
Firefox 3 is about to be released, and Mozilla has just opened up this event to celebrate the release. They are hoping to get the world record for most downloaded software in 24 hours, and are asking people to pledge that they will download Firefox 3 when it is released. I have pledged myself and I hope you guys will too - they already have many people signed up and it seems like it’s going to be pretty promising. Even if you are not using Firefox - sign up anyways. Chances are you’ll like Firefox and be glad you did ![]()
As promised, here is the sketch Kris Straub was so kind to give me at ECCC this year. It’s Chex from Checkerboard Nightmare. Also on a totally unrelated note comics will return monday. I’m trying to work a head a little bit, this way I won’t miss so many updates.

I turned commenting back on, though I also installed this handy plugin to block spam. Hopefully it will stop all you spambots. You guys are mean.
Emerald city was awesome. It was my first real comic convention, so I was really excited just to be there. I got to meet some of my favorite artists, which for me was just great. It feels nice to have finally met someone I only know over the Internet. I had all the How to make Webcomics authors sign my book and they were nice enough to include a free sketch as well. Kris Straub’s sketch is framed and on my wall - thanks, Kris. Chex’s smile and outstretched hand gives me a warming feel of “s’ok-ness.” I’ll post up a pic of the sketch later so you can know what I’m talking about.
Aside from the incredibly long and unnecessary wait at the border, I enjoyed every moment of it.
Also, Wil Wheaton kicks ass. I’ll be coming back next year for more.
